• In August 2019, SulAmérica S.A. (“SulAmérica”) announced the sale of its automobile and property & casualty businesses to Allianz Seguros S.A. (“Allianz”) for R$3.0 billion

– The transaction value was based on a net equity of R$700 million

• Founded in 1890 and based in Germany, Allianz Group is among the top three property & casualty insurers globally

– With this transaction, Allianz will become one of the largest insurance companies in the automobile and property & casualty segments in Brazil

– The Allianz investment also illustrates its confidence in Brazil

• The transaction reinforces SulAmérica’s strategic positioning focused on the health, dental, and life and pension segments, as well as its relevant position in asset management

– Furthermore, the transaction will provide additional liquidity to take advantage of organic and inorganic growth opportunities going forward
